By making a purchase/reservation through cozumeldiving.com via Paypal you agree with the following Purchase and Cancellation Policies.
PURCHASE POLICY.-
You may only purchase services according to the dive service(s) recipient´s prerequisite qualifications for such services. All qualified service recipients for open water, cavern and cave diving must be in good mental and physical condition, unless pre-approved in writting by a verified certified hyperbaric doctor.
Some examples, among others, could be:
A non-certified diver can not be recipient of certified diver required services, like Advanced courses.
Any non-certified or certified diver with a physical condition can not dive without the proper medical written approval.
An Open Water Diver can not be recipient of a Cave tour without the proper Cave certification.
A non-certified diver under 10 years old can not be recipient of Discover Scuba Diving entry course.
Please check course requirements on the Training Paths page for more details. If you mistakenly purchase a service on which the service recipient(s) do not meet requirements for such service you may cancel the service according to the CANCELLATION POLICY´s Cancellation Timeframe, but after this Cancellation Timeframe there will be no refunds, no exceptions.
All purchases/reservations must be made 2 or more weeks prior to receiving the service(s) , except for high season - December 20th through January 10th, where the purchase/reservation must be made 4 weeks or more prior to receiving the service(s).
Late purchases/reservations of services within 2 to 1 weeks prior of receiving the service(s) will not be accepted, but we will do our best to try to find you a space with the requested service provider through a personal email request from you. This "Late purchase/reservation" request has an additional non-refundable charge of $10.00 USD (not included in the regular service price) that must be covered before we try to find you a space. If we find an available space for your requested service, or not, we will notify you via email to make the appropiate purchase/reservation through Paypal, or that there is no availability for the requested service.
Last minute purchase/reservations of services within 1 week prior of receiving the service(s) will not be accepted, but we will do our best to try to find you a space with the requested service provider through a personal email request from you. This "Late purchase/reservation" request has an additional non-refundable charge of $20.00 USD (not included in the regular service price) that must be covered before we try to find you a space. If we find an available space for your requested service, or not, we will notify you via email to make the appropiate service purchase/reservation through Paypal, or that there is no availability for the requested service.
CANCELLATION POLICY.-
In order to provide the best services possible, we must enforce a firm cancellation policy. Please understand that space and resources from service providers are limited.
Once you reserve a space, that space is yours and cannot be sold to anyone else. Therefore, if you cancel without sufficient notice,
service providers do not have the opportunity to fill that space. This cancellation policy is designed to cover lost revenue for space held, and actual costs.
If you stop or dispute payment through PayPal or your credit card company in violation of cozumeldiving.com Purchase and Cancellation Policy you will be liable for the amount even if your space(s) is(are) filled.
Cancellation Timeframe:
Cancellations made 2 weeks (4 weeks for high season) or more prior to arrival will be refunded 100% of all deposits if applicable, by cozumeldiving.com.
Cancellations made within 2 weeks(4 weeks for high season) will forfeit their deposit. However, if your space(s) is filled, your deposit will be promptly
refunded, either by cozumeldiving.com, or by the service provider(s) if deposited funds have been transfered to the service provider(s).
You agree that as soon as you arrive to receive your purchased services cancellations and refund matters are transfered to the service provider(s) and that cozumeldiving.com is no longer responsible for any type of claims.
The following applies to all service providers:
Canceling Individual Dives:
Dives, diving courses or diving services cancelled or aborted due to fear, inability to equalize, ear problems due to improper equalization, self-induced illness, or other issues uncontrollable by the service provider will not be refunded.
No shows or cancellations the day of the service will not be refunded, no exceptions.
Service providers have a zero tolerance policy for "drinking and diving." Everything in moderation is acceptable; however, anyone showing up for the corresponding service hung-over or smelling of alcohol will not be allowed on to receive the service and will not be issued a refund. There are absolutely no exceptions to this policy.
In case of services being disrupted by out of human control factors, such as, but not limited to: bad weather, port or cenote being closed by government authorities, or hazardous conditions determined by the service provider, the service provider will provide a full refund directly to the service recipient(s).
Service providers reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime with no refund if divers are deemed to be unsafe, irresponsible, do not follow the dive plans, disobey marine park regulations, or are otherwise disrespectful to their employees.
Exceptions to these cancellation policies will be made at the discretion of the service provider(s) on a case by case basis.
Dive credits and rain checks will be issued at the discretion of the service provider(s).
